इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत अनुशासनपर्वके अन्तर्गत दानधर्मपर्वनें श्राद्धकल्पविषयक नवासीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ ॥/ ८९ ॥। अपना बछ। अकाल नवतितमो< ध्याय: भ्राद्धमें ब्राह्मणोंकी परीक्षा
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | kīdṛśebhyaḥ pradātavyaṃ bhavec chrāddhaṃ pitāmaha | dvijebhyaḥ kuruśārdūla tan me vyākhyātum arhasi ||
યુધિષ્ઠિરે કહ્યું—પિતામહ! કયા પ્રકારના બ્રાહ્મણોને શ્રાદ્ધનું દાન (નિમંત્રણ) આપવું જોઈએ? હે કુરુશાર્દૂલ! કૃપા કરીને તે મને સ્પષ્ટ રીતે સમજાવો।
