Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तेजकी राशिभूत अग्निदेवका तुम सब लोग शीघ्र अन्वेषण करो। वे तुम्हारी मनोवांछित कामनाको पूर्ण करेंगे ।।
etad vākyam upaśrutya tato devā mahātmanaḥ | jagmuḥ saṃsiddha-saṅkalpāḥ paryeṣanto vibhāvasum ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું: તમે સૌ તેજોરાશિરૂપ અગ્નિદેવને તાત્કાલિક શોધો; તેઓ તમારી મનગમતી કામનાને પૂર્ણ કરશે. મહાત્માના આ વચન સાંભળીને દેવતાઓ—સંકલ્પમાં દૃઢ અને સફળતામાં નિશ્ચિત—વಿಭાવસુ (અગ્નિ)ની શોધ માટે ત્યાંથી નીકળી પડ્યા.
