Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
तस्माद् ये वै प्रयच्छन्ति सुवर्ण धर्मदर्शिन: । देवतास्ते प्रयच्छन्ति समस्ता इति नः श्रुतम्
tasmād ye vai prayacchanti suvarṇaṃ dharmadarśinaḥ | devatās te prayacchanti samastā iti naḥ śrutam ||
અતએવ ધર્મદર્શી પુરુષો જે સુવર્ણદાન કરે છે, તેઓ જાણે સમસ્ત દેવતાઓને જ દાન કરે છે—એવું અમે પરંપરાથી સાંભળ્યું છે. સુવર્ણદાનને સર્વદેવ-અર્પણ સમાન માનવામાં આવે છે।
