Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
अग्न्यभावे च कुरुते वह्निस्थानेषु काउ्चनम् | जामदग्न्य प्रमाणज्ञो वेदश्रुतिनिदर्शनात्
agnyabhāve ca kurute vahnistāneṣu kāñcanam | jāmadagnyaḥ pramāṇajño vedaśrutinidarśanāt ||
વસિષ્ઠે કહ્યું—અગ્નિ ન હોય ત્યારે, જ્યાં અગ્નિનું સ્થાન હોય ત્યાં સોનાનો ઉપયોગ કરી શકાય; વેદ-શ્રુતિના દૃષ્ટાંતથી આ પ્રમાણિત છે. હે જામદગ્ન્ય પરશુરામ, પ્રમાણજ્ઞ પુરુષ એમ કરે છે.
