Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
जग्राहांगिरसं देव: शिखी तस्माद्भधुताशन: । तस्मादांगिरसा ज्ञेया: सर्व एव तदन्वया:
jagrāhāṅgirasaṃ devaḥ śikhī tasmād badhutāśanaḥ | tasmād āṅgirasā jñeyāḥ sarva eva tad-anvayāḥ ||
વસિષ્ઠ બોલ્યા—જ્વાલાકિરીટધારી દેવ અગ્નિએ અંગિરસને પુત્રરૂપે સ્વીકાર્યો; તેથી અંગિરસના વંશમાં જન્મેલા સર્વે અગ્નિવંશીય તરીકે જાણવાં, અને ‘વારુણ’ સંજ્ઞાથી પણ ઓળખવાં.
