Gavāṃ Māhātmya — Go-dāna, Yajña-ādhāra, and Goloka

समानवत्सां गौरीं तु थेनुं दत्त्वा पयस्विनीम् । सुव्रतां वस्त्रसंवीतां वसूनां लोकमाप्नुयात्
samānavatsāṃ gaurīṃ tu dhenuṃ dattvā payasvinīm | suvratāṃ vastrasaṃvītāṃ vasūnāṃ lokam āpnuyāt ||
જે વ્યક્તિ ગૌરવર્ણ, દૂધ આપતી શુભલક્ષણા ગાયને સમાન વર્ણના વાછરડાંসহ વસ્ત્રથી ઢાંકી અને પોતે સુવ્રત રહી દાન કરે છે, તે વસુઓના લોકને પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે।
