Brahmā–Indra–Surabhi Itihāsa
सवत्सां पीवरीं दत्त्वा दृतिकण्ठामलंकृताम् | वैश्वदेवमसम्बाध॑ स्थान श्रेष्ठ प्रपद्यते
savatsāṁ pīvarīṁ dattvā dṛtikaṇṭhām alaṅkṛtām | vaiśvadevam asambādhaṁ sthānaṁ śreṣṭhaṁ prapadyate ||
જે વ્યક્તિ સવત્સા, પુષ્ટ ગાયને કણ્ઠબંધ/ગળાનું આવરણ પહેરાવી અલંકૃત કરીને બ્રાહ્મણને દાન કરે છે, તે નિર્વિઘ્ને વિશ્વેદેવોના શ્રેષ્ઠ લોકને પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે।
