Merit and Destinations from the Gift of Cows
धर्मज्ञ पितामह! यह सब मैं यथावत् रूपसे जानना चाहता हूँ। इसके लिये मेरे मनमें बड़ी उत्कण्ठा है ।।
bhīṣma uvāca | yo vrataṃ vai yathoddiṣṭaṃ tathā sampratipadyate | akhaṇḍaṃ samyag ārabhya tasya lokāḥ sanātanāḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—યુધિષ્ઠિર, જે મનુષ્ય શાસ્ત્રમાં જેમ નિર્દેશિત છે તેમ જ વ્રત સ્વીકારે છે, અને સમ્યક રીતે આરંભ કરીને તેને અખંડ રીતે નિભાવે છે—તેને સનાતન લોકોની પ્રાપ્તિ થાય છે.
