सत्यवन्तः स्वर्गलोके मोदन्ते भरतर्षभ । दम: सत्यफलावाप्तिरुक्ता सर्वात्मना मया

Transliteration

satyavantaḥ svargaloke modante bharatarṣabha | damaḥ satyaphalāvāptir uktā sarvātmanā mayā ||

Translation

હે ભરતશ્રેષ્ઠ! સત્યવંતો સ્વર્ગલોકમાં આનંદ કરે છે; પરંતુ ઇન્દ્રિયસંયમ—દમ—જ સત્યના ફળની પ્રાપ્તિનું સાધન છે—આ મેં સંપૂર્ણ હૃદયથી કહ્યું છે.
