पूपान् पुनर्वसौ दत्त्वा तथैवान्नानि शो भने । यशस्वी रूपसम्पन्नो बद्धन्नो जायते कुले
pūpān punarvasau dattvā tathaivānnāni śobhane | yaśasvī rūpasampanno baddhānno jāyate kule ||
નારદે કહ્યું—હે શોભને! પુનર્વસુ કાળે પૂઆ (મીઠા કેક) તથા અન્નનું દાન કરવાથી મનુષ્ય ઉત્તમ કુળમાં જન્મે છે; ત્યાં તે યશસ્વી, રૂપસંપન્ન અને બહુ અન્નથી સમૃદ્ધ બને છે.
