Adhyāya 57: Tapas–Dāna Phala
On the Fruits of Austerity and Giving
तत्र दिव्यानभिप्रायान् ददर्श कुशिकस्तदा । पर्वतान् रूप्यसानूंश्व नलिनीश्व सपड़कजा:
tatra divyān abhiprāyān dadarśa kuśikas tadā | parvatān rūpyasānūṁś ca nalinīś ca sapaṅkajāḥ ||
ત્યાં તે સમયે કુશિકે દિવ્ય અભિપ્રાય સૂચવનારા અદ્ભુત દૃશ્યો જોયાં—રૂપાળી ઢાળવાળા પર્વતો અને કમળ-નીલોત્પલથી ભરેલાં સરોવરો; જાણે તે પ્રદેશ શુભ અને ઉચ્ચ લક્ષ્યો તરફ મનને ખેંચનાર હોય.
