Vivāha-dharma: Kanyā-pradāna, Śulka, and Pāṇigrahaṇa-niṣṭhā (अनुशासन पर्व, अध्याय ४४)
विपुल उवाच अजितेन्द्रिय दुर्बुद्धे पापात्मक पुरन्दर । न चिरं पूजयिष्यन्ति देवास्त्वां मानुषास्तथा
vipula uvāca | ajitendriya durbuddhe pāpātmaka purandara | na ciraṁ pūjayiṣyanti devās tvāṁ mānuṣās tathā ||
વિપુલે કહ્યું— ‘પાપાત્મા પુરંદર! તારી બુદ્ધિ દુષ્ટ છે; તું ઇન્દ્રિયોને જીત્યો નથી. જો તું આવી જ સ્થિતિમાં રહ્યો, તો દેવો અને મનુષ્યો પણ તને લાંબા સમય સુધી પૂજા-સન્માન નહીં આપે.’
