पात्रलक्षण-परिक्षा (Pātra-Lakṣaṇa Parīkṣā) — Criteria for a Worthy Recipient
महारथश्न राजन्य एष्टव्य: शत्रुतापन: । इति मां नारद: प्राह सततं सर्वभूतये
mahārathaś ca rājan ya eṣṭavyaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | iti māṃ nāradaḥ prāha satataṃ sarvabhūtaye ||
વાયુદેવે કહ્યું—હે રાજન્! શત્રુઓને તાપ આપનાર મહારથી ક્ષત્રિયના (જન્મની) કામના કરવી જોઈએ. સર્વ ભૂતોના હિતાર્થે નારદે મને આ વાત સતત પુનઃપુનઃ કહી છે.
