मही प्रचलिता चासीत् तस्य सत्येन कर्मणा । सारा शुभ्र आकाश सब ओससे मेघोंद्वारा आच्छादित हो गया। उनके सत्यकर्मके प्रभावसे पृथ्वी काँपने लगी
mahī pracalitā cāsīt tasya satyena karmaṇā |
તેમના સત્યપૂર્ણ આચરણના પ્રભાવથી ધરતી પોતે જ કંપી ઊઠી અને ચલાયમાન થઈ ગઈ. આ વર્ણન ધર્મના કેન્દ્રસ્થ સિદ્ધાંતને દર્શાવે છે—સત્ય, જ્યારે અડગ કર્મરૂપે પ્રગટે છે, ત્યારે તે માત્ર વ્યક્તિગત ગુણ નથી; જગતની વ્યવસ્થાને પણ અસર કરનાર શક્તિ છે.
