On Those Worthy of Honor and Salutation
अन््यं वरं वृणीष्व त्वं दुर्लभो5यं हि ते वर: । अत: जिनका मन अपने वशमें नहीं है
śakra uvāca | anyaṃ varaṃ vṛṇīṣva tvaṃ durlabho ’yaṃ hi te varaḥ |
શક્રે કહ્યું—તું બીજો વર માગ; તું જે વર માંગે છે તે તારા માટે ખરેખર દુર્લભ છે. તેથી જેમનું મન પોતાના વશમાં નથી, તેમના માટે બ્રાહ્મણત્વ સર્વથા દुष્પ્રાપ્ય છે; આ આગ્રહ છોડીને બીજો વર માગ.
