कपिल: कपिश: शुक्ल आयुभश्चिव परोडपर: । गन्धर्वो हादितिस्ताक्ष्य: सुविज्ञेयः सुशारद:

vāyudeva uvāca | kapilaḥ kapiśaḥ śukla āyubhaś caiva parodaparaḥ | gandharvo hāditis tākṣyaḥ suvijñeyaḥ suśāradaḥ ||

વાયુદેવે કહ્યું—તે અનેક રૂપોમાં સમજાય છે: કપિલ, કપિશ, શુક્લ; જીવનરૂપ આયુ; પ્રાચીન પણ અને અર્વાચીન પણ—પર અને અપાર; ગંધર્વરૂપ, અદિતિરূপ, અને તાક્ષ્ય (ગરુડ) રૂપ. તે સહેલાઈથી સ્પષ્ટ રીતે જાણવાપાત્ર છે, અને તેની વાણી પરિષ્કૃત તથા વિવેકસભર છે.
