अजश्च बहुरूपश्च गन्धधारी कपर्द्यपि । ऊर्ध्वरेता ऊर्ध्वलिड्र ऊर्ध्शायी नभःस्थल:
ajaś ca bahurūpaś ca gandhadhārī kapardy api | ūrdhvaretā ūrdhvaliḍra ūrdhvaśāyī nabhaḥsthalaḥ ||
વાયુદેવે કહ્યું—તે અજન્મા છે અને બહુરૂપધારી છે; સુગંધ ધારણ કરનાર, તથા જટાધારી પણ. તેની પ્રાણશક્તિ ઊર્ધ્વમુખી છે; તે ઊર્ધ્વ, પરાત્પર ભાવમાં ગતિ કરે છે અને સ્થિત રહે છે; અને આકાશના વિસ્તારમાં શયન કરે છે.
