महातपा घोरतपा अदीनो दीनसाधक: । संवत्सरकरो मन्त्र: प्रमाणं परमं तप:
mahātapā ghoratapā adīno dīnasādhakaḥ | saṃvatsarakaro mantraḥ pramāṇaṃ paramaṃ tapaḥ ||
વાયુદેવે કહ્યું— તે મહાતપસ્વી છે, ઘોર તપથી તેજસ્વી; ઉદાર છે, અને શરણાગત દીન-દુઃખીઓની આશા પૂર્ણ કરનાર છે. તે સંવત્સરનો નિર્માતા છે; તે પ્રણવ વગેરે મંત્રસ્વરૂપ છે; તે પ્રમાણ—સત્ય અધિકાર—છે, અને તપનું પરમ સ્વરૂપ છે.
