Anuśāsana-parva 17
नित्य आत्मसहायश्च देवासुरपति: पति: । युक्तश्न युक्तबाहुश्व देवो दिविसुपर्वण:
nitya ātmasahāyaś ca devāsurapatiḥ patiḥ | yuktaśna yuktabāhuś ca devo divi suparvaṇaḥ ||
વાયુએ કહ્યું—“તે નિત્ય આત્મસહાય છે; દેવો અને અસુરો—બન્નેનો સ્વામી તથા રક્ષક છે. આચરણમાં સંયમી, ભુજાબળમાં સ્થિર; તે દિવ્ય દેવ સ્વર્ગમાં નિવાસ કરે છે—ઉત્તમ સાંધા અને દૃઢ અંગોવાળો.”
