Anuśāsana-parva 17
७२७ महाकेतु:--धर्मरूप महान् ध्वजावाले
toraṇas tāraṇo vātaḥ paridhī patikhecaraḥ | saṃyogo vardhano vṛddho ativṛddho guṇādhikaḥ ||
વાયુદેવે કહ્યું—“તે મુક્તિદ્વારસ્વરૂપ તોરણ છે; પાર ઉતારનાર તारण છે; તે સ્વયં વાત—વાયુ છે; બ્રહ્માંડની પરિધિ છે; અને આકાશમાં ગતિ કરનારાઓનો સ્વામી છે. વૃદ્ધિનું કારણ બનતો સંયોગ પણ તે જ છે અને વર્ધન પણ તે જ; ગુણોમાં પરિપક્વ વૃદ્ધ; અતિપ્રાચીન હોવાથી અતિવૃદ્ધ; અને જ્ઞાન-ઐશ્વર્ય વગેરે ગુણોમાં સર્વાધિક.”
