वायुदेव उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजन्‌ द्विजानां भरतर्षभ | यथा तत्त्वेन वदतो गुणान्‌ वै कुरुसत्तम

Transliteration

vāyudeva uvāca | śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan dvijānāṃ bharatarṣabha | yathā tattvena vadato guṇān vai kurusattama ||

Translation

વાયુદેવે કહ્યું—હે રાજન, ભરતશ્રેષ્ઠ! ધ્યાનપૂર્વક સાંભળો. હે કુરુશ્રેષ્ઠ! હું દ્વિજોના (બ્રાહ્મણોના) ગુણો તત્ત્વ અનુસાર યથાર્થ રીતે વર્ણવું છું.
