तस्यैवोर्ध्व॑ तिर्यगधश्षुरन्ति गभस्तयो मेदिनीं भासयन्त: । त॑ं ब्राह्मणा वेदविदो जुषन्ति तस्यादित्यो भामुपयुज्य भाति

Transliteration

tasyaivordhvaṁ tiryag adhaś ca śuranti gabhastayo medinīṁ bhāsayantaḥ | taṁ brāhmaṇā vedavido juṣanti tasyādityo bhām upayujya bhāti ||

Translation

એ જ પરમ તત્ત્વમાંથી ઉપર, આડું અને નીચે તરફ કિરણો વહે છે અને પૃથ્વીને પ્રકાશિત કરે છે. વેદવિદ બ્રાહ્મણો એ જ તત્ત્વની આરાધના કરે છે; અને એની જ કાંતિનો આધાર લઈને સૂર્યદેવ તેજસ્વી બને છે.
