आदित्या: सत्रमासन्त सरो वै मानसं प्रति । वसिष्ठ॑ मनसा गत्वा ज्ञात्वा तत् तस्य गौरवम्,“एक समय देवताओंने वसिष्ठ मुनिके गौरवको जानकर मन-ही-मन उनकी शरण जाकर मानसरोवरके तटपर यज्ञ आरम्भ किया
Ādityāḥ satram āsanta saro vai Mānasam prati | Vasiṣṭhaṁ manasā gatvā jñātvā tat tasya gauravam ||
એક સમયે આદિત્યોએ માનસરોવરનાં કિનારે સત્રયજ્ઞ આરંભ્યો. વશિષ્ઠ મુનિના ગૌરવને જાણી તેઓ મનથી તેમની શરણ ગયા અને તેમના સન્માનમાં ત્યાં જ તે યજ્ઞ પ્રવર્તાવ્યો.
