अदैवं दैवतं कुर्युर्दवतं चाप्पदैवतम्‌ । लोकानन्यान्‌ सृजेयुस्ते लोकपालांश्ष कोपिता:

Transliteration

adaivaṃ daivataṃ kuryur daivataṃ cāpy adaivatam | lokān anyān sṛjeyus te lokapālāṃś ca kopitāḥ ||

Translation

તપોબળથી બ્રાહ્મણો જે દૈવી નથી તેને પણ દૈવત બનાવી શકે છે; અને જો તેઓ ક્રોધિત થાય તો દેવતાઓને પણ દેવત્વથી ચ્યૂત કરી શકે છે। ક્રોધમાં તેઓ અન્ય-અન્ય લોકો અને લોકપાલોની પણ રચના કરી શકે છે।
