अजो महार्ह: स्वाभाव्यो जितामित्र: प्रमोदन: । आनन्दो नन्दनो नन्द: सत्यधर्मा त्रिविक्रम:
ajo mahārhaḥ svābhāvyo jitāmitraḥ pramodanaḥ | ānando nandano nandaḥ satyadharmā trivikramaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—તે અજ, અજન્મા છે; મહાર્હ, પરમ પૂજનીય; સ્વાભાવ્ય, સ્વયંસિદ્ધ અને નિત્યપરિપૂર્ણ; જીતામિત્ર, શત્રુઓને જીતનાર; પ્રમોદન, માત્ર સ્મરણથી હર્ષ આપનાર. તે આનંદ—આનંદસ્વરૂપ; નંદન—સર્વને પ્રસન્ન કરનાર; નંદ—સંપૂર્ણ ઐશ્વર્યથી યુક્ત; સત્યધર્મા—સત્ય અને ધર્મસ્વભાવવાળો; અને ત્રિવિક્રમ—ત્રણ પગલાંમાં ત્રિલોક માપનાર છે।
