अनिर्विण्ण: स्थविष्ठो5 भूर्धर्मयूपो महामख: । नक्षत्रनेमिर्नक्षत्री क्षम: क्षाम: समीहन:
bhīṣma uvāca | anirviṇṇaḥ sthaviṣṭho 'bhūd dharmayūpo mahāmakhaḥ | nakṣatranemir nakṣatrī kṣamaḥ kṣāmaḥ samīhanaḥ ||
ભીષ્મ બોલ્યા—તે નિરાશા અને વિકૃતિથી રહિત છે; વિરાટ સ્વરૂપે સ્થિત છે; અજન્મા છે; ધર્મનો સ્તંભ અને મહાયજ્ઞસ્વરૂપ છે. તે સર્વ નક્ષત્રોનું કેન્દ્ર છે; નક્ષત્રાધિપતિ (ચંદ્ર) છે; સર્વ કાર્યોમાં સમર્થ છે; જગતનું નિવાસસ્થાન છે; અને સૃષ્ટિ તથા વ્યવસ્થાના માટે સમ્યક પ્રયત્ન કરનાર છે.
