उद्धव: क्षोभणो देव: श्रीगर्भ: परमेश्वर: । करणं कारणं कर्ता विकर्ता गहनो गृह:
uddhavaḥ kṣobhaṇo devaḥ śrīgarbhaḥ parameśvaraḥ | karaṇaṃ kāraṇaṃ kartā vikartā gahano guhaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—તે ‘ઉદ્ધવ’, ‘ક્ષોભણ’, ‘દેવ’, ‘શ્રીગર્ભ’ અને ‘પરમેશ્વર’ કહેવાય છે. તે જ કરણ અને કારણ છે; તે જ કર્તા અને અનેક લોકોના વિકર્તા છે; તે ગહન છે અને ગુહ્ય છે—માયાથી પોતાનું સ્વરૂપ ઢાંકી લે છે.
