अतुलः शरभो भीम: समयज्ञो हविह॑रि: । सर्वलक्षणलक्षण्यो लक्ष्मीवान् समितिज्जय:
atulaḥ śarabho bhīmaḥ samayajño havihariḥ | sarvalakṣaṇalakṣaṇyo lakṣmīvān samitijjayaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—તે અતુલ, અદ્વિતીય; શરભ; ભીમ, પાપીઓ માટે ભયંકર; સમયજ્ઞ, સમભાવરૂપ યજ્ઞમાં સ્થિત; હવિર્હરિ, યજ્ઞનો હવિભાગ સ્વીકારનાર અને સ્મરણ કરનારાના પાપ હરણ કરનાર. તે સર્વ શુભ લક્ષણોથી લક્ષિત, લક્ષ્મીવાન—લક્ષ્મીસહિત—અને સમિતિજય, યુદ્ધવિજયી છે।
