ओजस्तेजोद्युतिधर: प्रकाशात्मा प्रतापन: । ऋद्धः स्पष्टाक्षरो मन्त्रश्नन्द्रांशुर्भास्करद्युति:
ojastejodyutidharaḥ prakāśātmā pratāpanaḥ | ṛddhaḥ spaṣṭākṣaro mantraś candrāṁśur bhāskaradyutiḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—તે ઓજ, તેજ અને દ્યુતિ ધારણ કરનાર છે; પ્રકાશ જ તેનું આત્મસ્વરૂપ છે; અને પોતાની વિભૂતિઓથી તપાવે તથા નિયંત્રિત કરે છે. તે ઋદ્ધ છે—ધર્મ, જ્ઞાન અને વૈરાગ્યથી સમૃદ્ધ; તેનું અક્ષર સ્પષ્ટ છે—પ્રગટ ઓંકાર; તે વેદમંત્રસ્વરૂપ છે; તે ચંદ્રકિરણ સમાન સંસારતાપથી દગ્ધ ચિત્તોને શીતળ કરે છે; અને સૂર્ય સમાન તેજસ્વી છે.
