पूतात्मा परमात्मा च मुक्तानां परमा गति: । अव्यय: पुरुष: साक्षी क्षेत्रज्ञो5क्षर एव च
pūtātmā paramātmā ca muktānāṁ paramā gatiḥ | avyayaḥ puruṣaḥ sākṣī kṣetrajño 'kṣara eva ca ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—એ જ પૂતાત્મા અને એ જ પરમાત્મા; મુક્તો માટે એ જ પરમ ગતિ છે. એ અવ્યય છે—દેહમાં નિવાસ કરનાર પુરુષ; એ સాక్షી છે; એ ક્ષેત્રજ્ઞ (દેહ-પ્રકૃતિને જાણનાર) છે અને એ જ અક્ષર—અક્ષય છે.
