Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
व्यभ्रं च गगनं सद्यः क्षणेन समपद्यत । तीर्थयात्रां ततो विप्रा जग्मुश्नान्ये यथागतम्
vyabhraṃ ca gaganaṃ sadyaḥ kṣaṇena samapadyata | tīrthayātrāṃ tato viprā jagmuḥ anye yathāgatam ||
તત્કાળ એક જ ક્ષણમાં આકાશ નિર્મળ બની ગયું—ક્યાંય વાદળ ન રહ્યાં. ત્યારબાદ બ્રાહ્મણો ત્યાંથી તીર્થયાત્રા માટે નીકળી પડ્યા અને બીજા લોકો જેમ આવ્યા હતા તેમ જ પાછા ફર્યા।
