Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
चारुदेष्ण: सुचारुश्ष चारुवेशो यशोधर: । चारुश्रवाश्लारुयशा: प्रद्युम्न: शम्भुरेव च
Cārudeṣṇaḥ sucāruś ca cāruveśo yaśodharaḥ | Cāruśravāś cāruyaśāḥ pradyumnaḥ śambhur eva ca ||
હે મધુસૂદન! ચારુદેષ્ણ, સુચારુ, ચારુવેશ, યશોધર, ચારુશ્રવા, ચારુયશા, પ્રદ્યુમ્ન અને શંભુ—આ મારા પુણ્યવાન, શૂર અને સુંદર પરાક્રમી પુત્રો છે. જેમ રુક્મિણીના ગર્ભથી તમે તેમને આપ્યા, તેમ મને પણ પુત્ર આપો.
