Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
य: पूर्वमसृजद् देवं ब्रह्माणं लोकभावनम् । अण्डमाकाशमापूर्य वरं तस्माद् वृणीमहे
yaḥ pūrvam asṛjad devaṁ brahmāṇaṁ lokabhāvanam | aṇḍam ākāśam āpūrya varaṁ tasmād vṛṇīmahe ||
જેણે આદિકાળે લોકભાવન દેવ બ્રહ્માને ઉત્પન્ન કર્યો અને આકાશને મહાઅંડથી પરિપૂર્ણ કર્યું—એ મહાદેવ પાસેથી જ અમે વર માગીએ છીએ।
