स ऋषीन् वाहयामास वरदानमदान्वित: । परिहीणक्रियश्वैव दुर्बलत्वमुपेयिवान्
sa ṛṣīn vāhayāmāsa varadānamadānvitāḥ | parihīṇakriyaś caiva durbalatvam upeyivān |
વરદાનના મદથી અહંકારગ્રસ્ત થઈ તેણે ઋષિઓને પોતાનું વાહન વહન કરાવ્યું. પરિણામે તે ધર્માચાર અને નિયત કર્મોથી ભ્રષ્ટ થયો; અને પછી દુર્બળ બન્યો—ધર્મબળથી વંચિત.
