वैशम्पायन उवाच तं विशोध्य तदा राजा देवदूतेन भारत । हृष्ट: प्रमुदितश्चापि प्रतिजग्राह तं सुतम्
Translation
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—હે ભારત! ત્યારે દેવદૂતના વચનથી તે બાળકની શુદ્ધતા પ્રમાણિત થતાં રાજા (દુષ્યંત) હર્ષ અને આનંદથી ભરાઈ પોતાના તે પુત્રને સ્વીકારી લીધો.
