Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
गणात् क्रोधवशादेष राजपूगो5भवत् क्षितौ | जात: पुरा महाभागो महाकीर्तिमहाबल:
gaṇāt krodhavaśād eṣa rājapūgo 'bhavat kṣitau | jātaḥ purā mahābhāgo mahākīrtimahābalaḥ ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—‘ક્રોધવશ’ નામના ગણમાંથી આ રાજસમૂહ એક વખત પૃથ્વી પર ઉત્પન્ન થયો હતો. તેઓ સૌ પૂર્વકાળે મહાભાગ્યશાળી, મહાકીર્તિમાન અને મહાબલવાન બની જન્મ્યા હતા.
