Duḥṣantasya Vana-praveśaḥ
King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt
वसु: प्रीत्या मघवता महाराजो5भिसत्कृत: । उत्सवं कारयिष्यन्ति सदा शक्रस्य ये नरा:
Vasuḥ prītyā maghavatā mahārājo ’bhisatkṛtaḥ | utsavaṁ kārayiṣyanti sadā śakrasya ye narāḥ ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—મઘવા ઇન્દ્રએ મહારાજ વસુનું પ્રેમપૂર્વક ઉત્તમ રીતે સન્માન કર્યું. જે મનુષ્યો સદા શક્ર (ઇન્દ્ર)નો ઉત્સવ કરાવે છે, તેઓ ઇન્દ્રોત્સવ દ્વારા ઇન્દ્રનો વરદાન મેળવી એ જ ઉત્તમ ગતિ પામે છે, જે ભૂમિ-રત્નાદિ દાનના પુણ્યથી યુક્ત લોકો પામે છે.
