Śṛṅgī’s Curse on King Parikṣit
Parikṣit–Śṛṅgī–Takṣaka Causal Link
वायुकिरुवाच अयं शापो यथोद्दिष्टो विदितं वस्तथानघा: । तस्य शापस्य मोक्षार्थ मन्त्रयित्वा यतामहे
vāyukir uvāca: ayaṁ śāpo yathoddiṣṭo viditaṁ vaḥ tathānaghāḥ | tasya śāpasya mokṣārthaṁ mantrayitvā yatāmahe ||
વાસુકિ બોલ્યો—“હે નિષ્પાપ નાગગણ! માતાએ જેમ શાપ ઉચ્ચાર્યો છે તે તમારે સૌને જાણીતો છે. તેથી તે શાપમાંથી મુક્તિ માટે આપણે મંત્રણા કરીને ઉપાયમાં પ્રયત્ન કરીએ.”
