Shloka 11
देवा ऊचु: ऋणिनो मानवा ब्रह्मन् जायन्ते येन तच्छूणु । क्रियाभिन्रह्मचर्येण प्रजया च न संशय:
devā ūcuḥ—ṛṇino mānavā brahman jāyante yena tac chṛṇu | kriyābhir brahmacaryeṇa prajayā ca na saṃśayaḥ |
દેવોએ કહ્યું—હે બ્રહ્મન્! સાંભળો, કયા ઋણના કારણે મનુષ્યો ઋણી બની જન્મે છે. યજ્ઞકર્મ, બ્રહ્મચર્યનું પાલન અને સંતાનોત્પત્તિ—આ ત્રણ બાબતોમાં સર્વ મનુષ્યો પર ઋણ રહે છે; તેમાં સંશય નથી.
