वैशम्पायन उवाच तत् कर्म भीमस्य समीक्ष्य कृष्ण: कुन्तीसुतो तौ परिशड्कमान: । निवारयामास महीपतींस्तान् धर्मेण लब्धेत्यनुनीय सर्वान्
vaiśampāyana uvāca tat karma bhīmasya samīkṣya kṛṣṇaḥ kuntīsuto tau pariśaṅkamānaḥ | nivārayāmāsa mahīpatīṁs tān dharmeṇa labdhety anunīya sarvān |
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—ભીમના તે અદભુત કાર્યને જોઈ, આ બંને કુંતીપુત્રો (ભીમ અને અર્જુન) જ હશે એવી શંકા રાખીને, કૃષ્ણે દ્રૌપદી ધર્મપૂર્વક પ્રાપ્ત થઈ છે એમ સૌને સમજાવી, તે રાજાઓને વિનયપૂર્વક યુદ્ધથી અટકાવ્યા.
