न चैनमभ्यजानंस्ते तदा विकृतदर्शनम् | अथीैनं परिपप्रच्छु: को भवान् कस्य वेत्युत,उस समय उसका रूप बदल गया था। पाण्डव उसे पहचान न सके; अतः पूछने लगे --“तुम कौन हो, किसके पुत्र हो?”
na cainam abhyajānans te tadā vikṛtadarśanam | athainaṁ paripapracchuḥ ko bhavān kasya vety uta ||
તે સમયે તેનું રૂપ બદલાઈ ગયું હતું; તેથી તેઓ તેને ઓળખી શક્યા નહીં. તેથી તેમણે તેને પૂછ્યું—“તમે કોણ છો, અને કોના પુત્ર છો?”
