विश्रान्तेडथ गुरौ तस्मिन् पौत्रानादाय कौरवान् | शिष्यत्वेन ददौ भीष्मो वसूनि विविधानि च
viśrānte 'tha gurau tasmin pautrān ādāya kauravān | śiṣyatvena dadau bhīṣmo vasūni vividhāni ca ||
વૈશમ્પાયન બોલ્યા—ગુરુએ વિશ્રામ લીધા પછી પરાક્રમી ભીષ્મે કુરુવંશીય પૌત્રોને સાથે લઈ તેમને શિષ્યરૂપે આચાર્યને સોંપ્યા અને વિવિધ પ્રકારનું ધન પણ અર્પણ કર્યું।
