बभूव परमो हर्ष: शतशृड्शनिवासिनाम् | तथा देवनिकायानां सेन्द्राणां च दिवौकसाम्
babhūva paramo harṣaḥ śataśṛṅganivāsinām | tathā devanikāyānāṃ sendrāṇāṃ ca divaukasām |
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—શતશૃંગમાં નિવાસ કરનારા તપસ્વી મુનિઓમાં પરમ હર્ષ થયો. તેમ જ સ્વર્ગમાં વસતા ઇન્દ્ર સહિત દેવસમૂહમાં પણ મહાન આનંદ પ્રસરી ગયો. તે અદ્ભુત આકાશવાણી સાંભળી તેઓ એવા ઉલ્લાસિત થયા જાણે લોકધર્મની જ પુષ્ટિ થઈ હોય।
