पतता तेन शतधा शिला गान्रैविंचूर्णिता । तां शिलां चूर्णितां दृष्टवा पाण्डुविस्मयमागत:

Transliteration

patatā tena śatadhā śilā gāndharvaivaṁ cūrṇitā | tāṁ śilāṁ cūrṇitāṁ dṛṣṭvā pāṇḍur vismayam āgataḥ ||

Translation

વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—પડતાં પડતાં તેણે પોતાના અંગપ્રહારથી તે પર્વતશિલાને સો ભાગમાં ચૂર્ણ-વિચૂર્ણ કરી દીધી. પથ્થરની ચટ્ટાન ધૂળ સમી થઈ ગયેલી જોઈ મહારાજ પાંડુ વિસ્મયમાં પડી ગયા.
