The Birth of Kṛpa and Kṛpī; Kṛpa’s Attainment of Astras
पितृदेवर्षिमनुजैददेयं तेभ्यश्व धर्मत: । एतानि तु यथाकालं यो न बुध्यति मानव:
Vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca: pitṛ-devarṣi-manujaiḥ dade yaṃ tebhyaś ca dharmataḥ | etāni tu yathākālaṃ yo na budhyati mānavaḥ ||
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા— ધર્મ અનુસાર પિતૃઓ, દેવો, ઋષિઓ અને મનુષ્યો—તેમને જે દેવું છે તે અવશ્ય ચૂકવવું જોઈએ. પરંતુ જે મનુષ્ય યોગ્ય સમયે આ ફરજો સમજે નહીં, તેને પુણ્યલોક સહેલાઈથી મળતા નથી.
