ततः स मृगयामास वने तस्मिंस्तपोधन: । नाध्यगच्छच्च मृगयंस्तां गां मुनिरुदारधी:,तब तपोधन वसिष्ठजी उस वनमें गायकी खोज करने लगे; परंतु खोजनेपर भी वे उदारबुद्धि महर्षि उस गायको न पा सके
tataḥ sa mṛgayāmāsa vane tasmiṃs tapodhanaḥ | nādhyagacchac ca mṛgayan tāṃ gāṃ munir udāradhīḥ ||
ત્યારે તપોધન મુનિ તે વનમાં ગાયની શોધ કરવા લાગ્યા; પરંતુ શોધતા શોધતા પણ ઉદારબુદ્ધિ ઋષિને તે ગાય મળી નહીં.
