वसंते कपिलः सूर्यो ग्रीष्मे काञ्चनसप्रभः श्वेतो वर्षासु वर्णेन पाण्डुः शरदि भास्करः

Transliteration

vasaṃte kapilaḥ sūryo grīṣme kāñcanasaprabhaḥ śveto varṣāsu varṇena pāṇḍuḥ śaradi bhāskaraḥ

Translation

વસંતમાં સૂર્ય કપિલવર્ણ દેખાય છે; ગ્રીષ્મમાં કાંચન-પ્રભાથી ઝળહળે છે; વર્ષામાં શ્વેતવર્ણ થાય છે; અને શરદમાં ભાસ્કર પાંડુવર્ણ થાય છે—આ રીતે કાળના ગુણોમાં પ્રભુની શક્તિ દેખાય છે।
