नादेयीश्चैव सामुद्रीः कूपाश्चैव तथा घनाः स्थावरा जङ्गमाश्चैव वापीकुल्यादिका अपः
nādeyīścaiva sāmudrīḥ kūpāścaiva tathā ghanāḥ sthāvarā jaṅgamāścaiva vāpīkulyādikā apaḥ
જળ અનેક પ્રકારનાં છે—નદીજન્ય, સમુદ્રજન્ય, કૂવામાંથી મેળવેલાં અને મેઘવૃષ્ટિથી સંગ્રહિત; કેટલાંક સ્થિર, કેટલાંક વહેતાં—વાપી, કુલ્યા આદિના જળ।
