सूर्यरथ-रचना, ध्रुव-प्रेरणा, मास-गणाः च

शुभानना शुभश्रोणिर् दिव्या वै पुञ्जिकस्थला मेनका सहजन्या च प्रम्लोचाथ शुचिस्मिता

śubhānanā śubhaśroṇir divyā vai puñjikasthalā menakā sahajanyā ca pramlocātha śucismitā

શુભાનના, શુભશ્રોણી, દિવ્યા, પુઞ્જિકસ્થલા, મેનકા, સહજન્યા, પ્રમ્લોચા અને શુચિસ્મિતા—આ પ્રસિદ્ધ દિવ્ય અપ્સરાઓ પવિત્ર વૃત્તાંતમાં વર્ણવાઈ છે. જગતકથામાં તેમનું સાન્નિધ્ય ઈશ્વરના શાસનમાં પાશબદ્ધ પશુઓ માટે એક નિમિત્ત બને છે.
