Vānaprastha-Dharma: Forest Discipline, Vaikhānasa Austerities, and Śiva-Āśrama as the Liberative Refuge

ग्रामादाहृत्य वाश्नीयादष्टौ ग्रासान् वने वसन् / प्रतिगृह्य पुटेनैव पाणिना शकलेन वा

વનમાં વસીને ગામમાંથી ભિક્ષા લાવી માત્ર આઠ ગ્રાસ જ ભોજન કરવું. તે સ્વીકારીને ફક્ત ઓંજળીમાં, અથવા હાથથી, કે નાનાં ટુકડાથી (ચમચી સમાન) લેવું.
